OPTIMAL SURGICAL TACTICS FOR ADULT HIRSCHSPRUNG’S DISEASE

To improve the results of surgical treatment of Hirschsprung’s disease in adults with the use of abdominal-anal rectal
resection with the reduction of the functioning parts of the colon into the anal canal. Material and methods: Under observation,
there were 86 patients with Hirschsprung’s disease aged 15 years and older who were treated in the coloproctology department of
the Clinical Hospital No 1 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent city. Results: The developed modification
of abdominal-anal rectal resection with reduction allows to significantly improving the outcomes of treatment of Hirschsprung’s
disease in adults: good functional results were obtained in 85%, satisfactory in 11% of cases. Conclusions: The performance of
abdominal-anal resection of the rectum with the reduction of the functioning proximal colon into the anal canal simplifies the
technique of surgery for Hirschsprung’s disease largely meets the requirement of radicalism than the Duhamel method
