To qualify the clinical efficiency of a new domestic enterosorbent based on cotton lignin in the complex
therapy of various forms of acute intestinal infections. Material and methods of research. Three groups of patients
with acute intestinal infections aged between 18 years and older were monitored. Results: A comparative analysis
of the marks of the relief of symptoms of patients has been treated with eterosorbents with a group of patients who
have not received enterosorbents in the complex therapy revealed visibly significant indicators of relief of diarrheal
syndrome, symptoms of intoxication, reduction of pathological impurities in the feces. Conclusions: The inclusion
of enterosorbents in the complex therapy of patients led to a significant reduction in the duration of diarrheal and
intoxication syndromes, the relief of flatulence, abdominal pain, which is probably due to the same absorption capacity
of drugs, compared with the group of patients who have not received chelators in complex therapy.
