Abstract

Diabetic foot syndrome is the most common complication of diabetes mellitus, since both angiopathy and neuropathy are a component of this pathology. In patients who have had COVID-19, diabetic foot syndrome proceeds in a more aggressive form, characterized by an increase in necrobiotic processes, even if the patency of the vessels of the lower extremities is restored. In this work, we tried to show the main clinical and laboratory signs of the onset and course of diabetic foot syndrome in patients who have had COVID-19.
